SHIRESTONE™ Surface Care and Maintenance


Routine Care:
Shirestone™ requires very little maintenance. Simply wipe your Shirestone™ surface with soap
and warm water to maintain its beauty and shine for years to come. Avoid any abrasive
cleaners.  


Extreme Heat Protection:
Shirestone™ is extremely resistant to heat and can withstand moderately high temperatures for
brief periods of time without being damaged. Although Shirestone™ is more heat resistant than
other countertop surfaces; any surface can be damaged by sudden and extreme temperature
changes.


General Precautions:
Although highly scratch resistant, we strongly recommend using a cutting board in order to
avoid damage to your knives and to deter the prospect of any unnecessary bacterial
contamination due to a damaged surface. Safety is our prime concern.

Color selection is based on your style and preference. Unlike limitations with natural stones,
ShireStone™ offers a rainbow of color palettes from which to choose. Accent all the colors of
